Good mental health
What is mental health
- Good mental health is a state of well-being in which the individual realises his or her own abilities
- can cope with the normal stresses of life
- can work productively and fruitfully and
- is able to make a contribution to his or her community
Mental health means how you feel, how you think and sometimes how you behave.
It can include feelings such as sadness, worry and fear. It can also mean that you see or hear things that are not really there, or that you believe things that are not true.
