Hospitals

In Dorset there are a number of different hospitals:

Visiting to all Community Hospitals is 15:00 – 16:30 and 18:30 – 20:00hrs.

It is also requested that only 2 visitors per bed at any time.

The Ward Manger will be able to make any discretionary exceptions for relatives who wish to give assistance to patients eating or for patients who are unwell.

From 1 July 2011, Dorset Primary Care Trust has transferred the management of community based health services (including the community hospitals detailed on this site) to Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust.
