DIMENSIONS

DIMENSIONS is a locally led project for children aged 8 - 12yrs and their families who want to achieve a healthy weight, but might need a little help to get there.

It is designed to be fun, enjoyable and practical. Sessions are held twice a week for 12 weeks, and are focussed on helping children and their families develop healthy lifestyle skills which you feel confident to use for the rest of your lives. It’s all about feeling positive about what you can do!

There are 4 different types of sessions run at Dimensions, which aim to give you skills to be able to make the changes you want to make around understanding a balanced diet, developing your cookery skills and building confidence at taking part in physical activities.

Change It!

A time to develop strategies to create those changes you want to make.

Eat It!

Understand the balance of food and drink, you need, to keep healthy.

Cook It!

Time to have family fun in the kitchen preparing healthy balanced food that you get to taste.

Move It!

Experience a range of activities to get you fit for the future.
