Health Network CCG Information Day – 8 November 2012

NHS Dorset Health Network members and other guests participated in a CCG information day held in the Brownsword Hall, Poundbury, Dorchester on 8 November 2012.

The programme was designed to inform guests about how the new GP led CCG will carry out its work and how commissioning support for the organisation will be provided.  There was a strong focus on patient and public involvement and the views of guests on developing engagement with the CCG were sought. 

Presentations were heard from Doctor Forbes Watson, the Transition Chair of the new Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group, Tim Goodson, Accountable Officer designate for the CCG, the NHS Dorset Involvement team, Locality Commissioning Managers, and Procurement Manager. 

During an exercise on engaging with the CCG, members gave their views on how this should be approached. These views, together with presentations and other information from the day can be viewed on the downloads section of this page.

Feedback from the day was positive, with guests reporting that they found the day enjoyable and informative.
