Your coordinator will arrange to meet you to discuss your application and the type of help you can offer.

The scheme is designed to be flexible and to fit into a volunteer’s existing lifestyle. Volunteers choose which duties they wish to undertake and the amount of time they give.

Volunteers have to provide two references and complete a Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check . Each volunteer is issued with photographic ID badges.

Volunteers are trained and supervised by the coordinator.

Volunteers do not offer any form of domestic chores or personal care.
