Board papers

The Board of NHS Dorset meets once every two months.

Meetings are advertised in advance in the local press and members of the public and media are welcome to attend. Details are also circulated via GP surgeries and in various other ways.

The Board papers giving details of subjects to be discussed and background information are published on the NHS Dorset website in advance of the meeting.

The Board papers are in two sections

The first section covers the public part of the meeting, held first, which anyone can attend.

The second section covers the part of the meeting dealing with confidential matters and is not available to the media and members of the public.

The press and public may not attend this part of the meeting for reasons of confidentiality and public interest.
